ENVIRONMENT AND THE STATE BUDGET

PUBLIC FORUM - This Wednesday 24th June, 12.30pm. TOWN HALL, Hobart  (opposite The Mercury)

The Tasmanian government recently decided to axe the Department of the Environment, Parks, Heritage and the Arts, and in its recently handed-down State budget, the government also made significant cuts to the Parks & Wildlife service, climate change, pollution control and tourism.

If you are concerned or upset about these decisions, or want to hear more, then please come along to this important public forum.

Representatives from each of Tasmania’s 3 political parties have been invited to speak about their respective environment, heritage and tourism budget policies.
